Pastor Dennis Lee, Jr.

 

   Rev. Dennis Lee, Jr. has been the pastor of the Hopewell Baptist Church, Buffalo, New York since June 1988.

He is a native of Buffalo, New York. Educated in the Buffalo Public School System. A graduate of Erie Community College with an Associate Degree in Labor Studies. Received his religious training and diploma from the former Baptist Bible College of WNY and a diploma in Pastoral Studies from Houghton College, Buffalo Campus, and an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity Degree from St. Thomas Christian College, Jacksonville, Florida.

He is a certified instructor of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. Immediate Past President of the Baptist Ministers’ Conference of Buffalo and Vicinity. He currently serves as Moderator of the Great Lakes Baptist Association, and Area #1 Vice President of the Empire Baptist Missionary Convention, Inc.

Pastor Lee is a 2006 Retiree of the National Grid Utility Corporation where he was employed for 38 years. He is also a Vietnam Veteran having served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1971.

Pastor Lee is married to Paulette F. Lee. He is the father of four and grandfather of six. Foremost, Pastor Lee is a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, who like the Apostle Paul, have not yet arrived, but is still pressing “toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
